Icmeler
Is an elite tourism center found nestled in a beautiful bay on the western tip of Marmaris.
Surrounded by Pine laden hills, İçmeler is named after its numerous
fresh water sources featuring renowded healing properties to the digestive
system. With an attractive and orderly waterfront and a beach running
uninterrupted the full length of the bay, with modern lodgings, restaurant,
bars, entertaintment and shopping centers. A mingling of modern and
traditional lifestyles brings you to the old village located behind the
resort and still preserverd in its authevtical features. For the
adventurous type there is an leisurely hike up through a beautiful canyon
located behind the village that sweeps you into another world. Situated at
the entrance to the resort is another feature that catches your attention.
A lengthly waterfront with fine sands and clear waters. İçmeler holds
its blue Flag with pride.
Turunc Village
The resort of Turunç
is a must for those wishing to experience both nature and comfort.
Situated in a small bay 20 km from Marmaris, Turunç also holds the blue
Flag with pride due to its crystal claer water and beautiful beach.
Hisaronu
Passing the village of Değirmenyani, Hisarönü bay is
located en route to Datça. Scattered with beautiful oleander trees, Hisarönü
is formed in two bays with small hotels and pensions to accommodate the
wayfarrer and the frequently visiting surfers.
Selimiye Village
If the subject is fishing and fish restaurants, Selimiye
abruptly comes to mind. A full day here of swimming and sunbathing brings
out the necessity of dinning in one of Selimiye’s popular fish
restaurants. A choice of select white wine, or who knows, maybe this time a
double "Raki" on the rocks maybe of company. Yatchers cannot do without
Selimiye, nor vice versa.
Bozburun
A true fishing village. Bozburun is perfect
for the visitor that prefers a tranquil lifestyle. Experiences with the
locals leave unforgotable memories. There are countless beautiful coves to
discover. The most noted aspect of this village is the fact that the
wooden gullet yacths which embark on the famous blue cruise, unique to the
Mediterranian, are built here.
Ciflik Bay
Departing from the
village of Bayir and entering the first path forking right will lead you
to a charming little cove called Ciftlik, housing a few restaurants and
the only 4 star hotel in the vicinity.
Kumlubuk - Amos
Amos, with its
tranquilizing hues if indigo blue and Kumlubuk, with its long beach with
crystal clear water. These neighbouring coves compete with each other in
their beauty and distinctiveness. Perched on top seperating the two bays
rests the ancient city of Amos, dated back to the 2nd century BC.
Orhaniye (Kizkumu)
Upon visiting
Orhaniye especially during the morning daylight, you will notice a silvery
sparkling, reflection off the turquoise waters of the bay. Witnessing this
phenomenon will leave you enthralled and never wishing to leave the place.

Turgut Village
High sky scrapping
Eucolyptus trees are lined up as if threaded by a string andvery
noticeable as you enter the sedentary village of Turgut. Following a
joyful sunny day excursion, you will find yourself relaxing in one of the
coves shouldering the village.
Waterfall
Accesible either by the road from Carpet Weavers Corporation, or from the
village road, is a small waterfall perfect for the passerby
in need for a cold dip in its rushing waters. Nearby you can also
see the world famous butterflies.
Bayir Village
Make sure you stop at the coffe shop here to witness what is probably the
most fulfilling view of mountain scenery. The immense plane standing in the
midst of the villages 2000 years old. The Legend states that those who walk
around its base three times are granted their wishes. The old village mosque is
another sight to see. Your guide or mosque care keeper will inform you of
customary rules for visitors.
Sogut Village
Being a very important Carian settlement, this village is built into two
seperate coves. Ideal for those who prefer peaceful and serene atmospheres.
Sogut has a tiny pension some restaurants and coffee houses.
